Ashley Defilbrillator Project

On Sunday 19th March our Market Harborough office is proud to be sponsoring the Ashley Defibrillator Project.

This event will see West End Encore perform songs form the musicals to include My Fair Lady, West End Story, Les Miserables, and many more within beautiful Ashley village church. With all proceeds from tickets going towards the new defibrillator.

We have been informed that the event is sold out, but for more information on how to donate to this wonderful cause please call 01858 565294 or events@ashleychurch.co.uk.

“A defibrillator is a computerised medical device which delivers an electrical current through the chest which aims to shock the heart back into a normal rhythm allowing it to pump again. Rapid response using automated technology can significantly improve the quality of life for the survivor, as the longer the brain is staved of oxygen, the more damage can occur. An AED is a portable defibrillator especially designed for people with little or no medical background. When applied to the victim, voice commands and screen messages will guide the used step-by-step through the process and its intelligent technology will only allow it to shock a ‘shockable’ heart rhythm. AED technology opens a window for the public to take on a key role to support emergency services who would otherwise be hindered by the time it takes to reach the victim. It is argued the AEDs should be as broadly deployed as fire extinguishers and first aid kits.” – The Community Heartbeat Trust

We wish all who attends this event a wonderful evening of singing and canapés!
