The property is for sale by informal tender with a guide price of £460,000. Tenders are to be received by 12noon Friday 1st December 2017 at our office: James Sellicks Estate Agents, 13 Church Street, Market Harborough LE16 7AA.

So what is an informal tender sale?

The process known as 'For Sale by Informal Tender' is where interested parties are invited to submit their best and final offers by the closing date specified in a sealed enveloped - often referred to as "sealed bids". All the tenders are then opened at the same time, where the vendor will review and consider each offer. The vendors are not bound to accept the highest offer and there will be many aspects surrounding an offer which the vendors will take into consideration when accepting an offer, such as chain details, timescales or whether a cash transaction. The vendor will then accept an offer and the property will have a sale completed on it in the normal way going through conveyancers, with an agreed timescale, an exchange of contracts with completion thereafter.
